AVERY HAUCK - President
My name is Avery Hauck. I am the 2023-2024 Batavia BPA Chapter President. After serving as president of this chapter last year, I found a true love for what I was doing. During my presidency in the BPA office, I helped lead our chapter to many prestigious achievements, including the OHIO CUP award for Chapter of the Year, the National Chapter Activities award, and the National Marketing and Public Relations award. I also had the opportunity to work many times with the former National BPA President, D'schon Simmons who gave me lots of advice on how to lead this chapter. Additionally, I was fortunate enough to become one of the first members in this chapter to secure a first-place victory at the national competition. It was so cool to see Batavia being recognized nationally in California! But this is just the beginning for this bright chapter.
Outside of BPA, I am a captain of the Men's Varsity Soccer Team, and I run Track. I also serve as class president for the class of 2024. I am a member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Student Council, Taylor Swift Club, and The Dragonfly Foundation. In the future, I plan to attend a strong business University to study entrepreneurship and economics and eventually manage my own business, with Lucas Filla. I mentioned this last year, and I will say it again...I believe that it is extremely important to help every student find some way to become involved and successful in not just this BPA chapter – but in the world as well. I am excited to see what this year has in store! |
LUCAS FILLA - Vice PresidentHello. My name is Lucas Filla, the 2023-2024 Vice President of the Batavia BPA chapter. This is my third year in BPA, and my second year serving as Vice President. After last year, where the leadership team and I led our chapter to attain many reputable accomplishments, I found a new love for business and leadership, causing me to build a firmer resolve to better both myself and the Batavia BPA chapter.
BPA has managed to leave a strong impact on me, helping me better my public speaking, refining my critical thinking, and teaching me that above all, the incredible power of passion and dedication can lead to unbelievable results. I believe that BPA has the power to change lives and that it is exceedingly important that we work to help every student find a way to become successful, not just in BPA, but in their futures as well. |
ALEX COLLIER - SecretaryI'm Alex Collier, the Secretary of the Batavia High School BPA chapter, and a junior at Batavia High School. This is my second year as a member of BPA and the officer team. I am also a multi-sport athlete and a proud member of the National Honor Society at Batavia High School. I enjoy competing for our program as well as watching my peers succeed. After high school, I plan to attend college, but I have no studies I am set on yet. As a person who does things as life moves with me, I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
